Register for Resident Camp!

Resident Camp registration is now underway, and a few programs have already reached capacity.  Go to www.gsooh.org to register online today, or complete the paper registration form included in the Camp Guide.

Check out the new line-up of horse programs, including new options for younger girls to stay at LakeView Ranch during Bits n' Baths, and opportunities to learn the ropes in the show ring in Show Ponies.  We also have a variety of adventure programs for the older girl, such as High Adventure trip to ACE resort in West Virginia, where you will participate in whitewater rafting, a zip line, and a mud obstacle course.  Or hit the road with Kentucky Explorer and plan your trip through the Bluegrass State- we give you the budget and you decide how to use it!

First time at camp?  First year campers can get a taste of camp during Short & Sweet, a new 2 night program for our youngest girls (grades 1-4).

Questions?  Give us a call at (740)259-4287 to chat with the Camp Director about choosing the best program for your daughter, or to discuss any other concerns that you may have.  Hope to see you this summer at camp!

Horseback riding

LakeView Ranch is located right next door to Camp Molly Lauman and provides a variety of horseback riding programs to both Girl Scout groups and the public.  We specialize in group programs and activities for youth.  See our description of activities and pricing for details.  We are excited to now be able to offer public trail rides to groups of 3-7 people, as well as birthday parties, private lessons, and more.

Safety is our #1 priority at LakeView Ranch, and we take pride in offering progressive riding instruction in safe, supportive, and contained environment.  We will patiently work with new riders and nervous riders of any age.  A signed waiver is required by each participant (or their guardian, if under age 18), and participants are required to wear the provided helmets.  In addition, we recommend that you wear boots with a 1/4" heel and jeans.

LakeView Ranch is accredited by the Certified Horsemanship Association, and is managed by a CHA certified riding instructor.  Contact our Equestrian Manager, Jessica Hussong, today via email or by calling (740)259-1675.
