Summer Camp Staff
Each summer, Camp Molly Lauman employs approximately 35 seasonal staff members in all parts of the daily camp operation. Positions are for 7 weeks (1 week of staff training + 6 sessions of campers), and start at $225/week, plus room and board are provided. Camp staff are often college students, but not always, and may be male or female. In addition to American staff, we usually employ 2-5 International staff members as well, who bring diversity and life experience to our summer program and staff.
What do we look for in camp staff?
We hire staff who are at least 18 years old and who:
- Pass a Criminal Background Check
- Enjoy working with children
- Are comfortable in the outdoors
- Want to challenge themselves physically and emotionally
- Want a resume-building, life-changing experience over summer break
- Want to meet new people and build friendships that last a lifetime
